Cheetos

My mom sent my dad to the grocery store this weekend to get some powdered sugar and he came back with these orange poofy things called cheetos.  Man they were SO GOOD!  My dad even let me get them out of the bag all by myself.  I had cheeto residue everywhere.  My hands were pretty coated.  I kept trying to grab my mom and she kept running away.  She kept saying something about my hands being really gross.  I don't know what she was talking about...I thought they tasted pretty good!

Birthday Party

My birthday party was this weekend!  I was so excited - my mom seemed really busy all day.  She spent a long time making me a cake.  Me and my dad watch Phineas and Ferb every morning.  Its our favorite cartoon!  My dad does a really awesome Dr. Doofenschmirtz impression.  My favorite character is Perry the Platypus so my mom made me a Perry the Platypus cake.  I think it turned out really good - even though I didn't eat any of it because I don't like cake.  I would have like a giant watermelon but they aren't really in season I guess.  Bummer.  Everyone at some cake - I just poked mine with one finger and was done.  I didn't feel like making a mess.  I just wanted to open my presents!  I got some jammies, a cute outfit, my very own money, and a ride on lion that roars.  I had lots of fun playing with it.  I wore out pretty quick though from all the excitement and I went to bed early.  Guess I'm not much of a partier!

Birthday Present

My first birthday was today!  My Grandma Jan came to see me after work and my mom and dad gave me my big present.  They got me my very own table and chairs!  We had cupcakes for supper...although I wasn't too interested in mine.  My mom thinks I'm weird for not liking cake and icing.  I figure she should just be happy.  More for her that way!

Mississippi River Museum Dubuque IA

This weekend we went to Dubuque for my cousin's birthday.  We stayed at the Grand Harbor hotel - it has a waterpark.  There was a museum not to far away that we went to.  It was lots of FUN!  There was this huge tank with lots of fish in it - the same kind of fish that live in the river!  I even got to watch turtles and ducks.  I had the most fun just sitting and watching the fish swim around with my dad.  We got to see some snakes too, and an alligator.  I learned a lot about the Mississippi River and had lots of fun.  I'll post some other pictures from our trip too!

TV Time with Dad

I like to hang out with my dad while he watches TV.  I like sports, and cartoons with music.  Me and my dad watch Phinneas and Ferb all the time.  He does a really cool impression of the evil doctor.  I like Perry the Platypus though.  I watch sometimes with my dad, most of the time I'm too busy playing with toys though.

Happy Halloween

I was pretty excited - this was my first Halloween!  My mom and dad made me dress up in this costume.  I think it was a witch.  I was more interested in the candy really.  It sure was a weird day.  My mom took me to school and picked me up just like a regular day, but then when we got home we put a bunch of candy in a bowl and went and sat outside.  Mom and Dad said it usually isn't this nice on Halloween, it was like 68 degrees!  My dad helped me carve a pumpkin and I got to help hand out candy for awhile.  Then my mom and dad took me around our block and I got to get my own candy.  I was pretty tired from all the commotion.  I went to bed at 6:30!  WOW!  When I got up the next day I only had 4 pieces of candy left.  Mom and Dad said the dog ate it...I'm not so sure.
